Datadef offers a free anonymous Scratch Canvas and paid subscription plans:
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider Polar.sh, which uses Stripe for payment processing. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees and authorize us to charge your payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.
The free anonymous Scratch Canvas allows a limited number of AI generations per day. Pro and Team users have unlimited AI generations. AI generations are consumed when using AI-powered diagram generation features. We reserve the right to implement fair use policies to prevent abuse of AI services.
To use Datadef, you must create an account using email/password or OAuth authentication (Google or GitHub). You are responsible for:
You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to violating intellectual property rights, distributing malware, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
You retain all rights to the diagrams and content you create using Datadef. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
The Datadef platform, including its design, features, code, and AI models, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.
We store your diagrams, projects, and related data on secure servers. While we implement industry-standard security measures, you acknowledge that no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining backups of any critical data.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account data, though we will provide reasonable notice when possible.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DATADEF AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
